It makes no difference whether Q is real of fake. Doubt you will ever know who it was and it doesn't matter.
All that matters is that eventually people will be exposed to all the connections that have been made by the digging, and the Awakening can happen. People have to find the answers themselves not be told.
You don't have to believe in Q.
