Great read… my evolution here at one point was similar… but then surpassed this. The night of the missile sucked me in for good. I was thinking for a while that focusing on "trusting the plan" was also allowing outrages to go by unopposed. But now I think that the pace is probably perfect, as per those lovely two last lines.
