After Christmas, Russia has been stopping Finnish cargo ships for extra thorough searches. Anne "most suspicious traffic minister ever" Berner complains about it. Russia hasn't said why it has started acting that way.

Several years back it was in the news how the Russian media claims that the Finnish child protective services take children from Russian parents in Finland without any real reason. Back then the unanimous media opinion was that Russia was spreading totally false anti-Finnish propaganda in preparation for a possible future invasion. Now I wonder. It was also mentioned in one article that Russia warns its tourists about the danger of their children being kidnapped in Scandinavia, including Norway.

I'm Finnish, and this country has gone so much downhill over the last few decades.
