Yes, indeed. I polled frens on how they consume daily news and got some surprising answers. Most of the older crowd does the Fox thing, It's insane just how many options there are to pick from, yet some people are trained to treat legacy media as an authoritative source. It's fucking bonkers, but we are creatures of habit. Legacy and New media know that, too, and play on it every day.

Yep. It's frustrating trying to convince them to gather more perspective from more sources. I won't give up on them, though, as anons have shown much patience and compassion when they didn't have to.

So true. One friend checks CNN, MSNBC, and Fox. Their rationale for Truth is if 2 out of the three are saying something similar, then it must be Truth. People use their pattern recognition device from the perspective of granting legacy media as authoritative. It hurts to watch it happen.
