imagine living in the U.S.A. where our government just voted to allow spying on U.S. citizens. welp this is how it be. there is no "Constitution". It's only used as a pivot point to distort our rights, eroding it's original purpose as it is seen as a 'barrier' to the government.

The Constitution has always been seen as an obstruction to government. Government exists for it's own growth and survival, votes for it's own growth and future. It puts it's interests ahead of the Constitution and has an adversarial relationship with the Constitution. The Constitution sits as an fixed impediment. It is not respected as the brilliant framework it was designed to be, which is to ensure the government operates for the people while at the same time ensuring and maintaining their rights and liberty. That intention has been discarded long ago.
