Yeah, but it seems that only the paid posting shills whine about namefags. Giving someone a nickname isn't out of the ordinary, especially when it's a group of individuals that have been posting together on a backwater image board for years. Anons giving each other a nicknames is crusade worthy to them for some reason. What you describe almost happened to SmokingPepe until he smartened up and reassessed his situation.
