nobody spends money for r&b/rap
in theory, if this r&b/rap was actually popular, there would be hundreds, thousands of live shows by this r&b/rap all over the place, all of the time. Like the way it is with rock, now, and continuously throughout my lifetime.
If the richest man in the world can bribe his way to r&b/rap all over the radio and the msm, he can't make people actually spend money on that.
Some parent could buy a subscription to spotify for their child, and they could just listen to the "Basic Spotify Playlist" which probably has Drake on it. Nobody seems to know Drake but he has the kind of records that you could get if you buy Spotify spins.
