What I'm getting at, is there's no way in hell he could ever get a fair trial. That's how fucked up all this shit is.
The original intent made sense. The Brits were running rigged trials. We're seeing the same, here, but how to remedy in the case of the jury itself?
Hell, seeing how divided people are on things even among those with above avg IQ and college-level reading/writing skills is a scary thing to think about.
