For embedding YouTube shorts a bit of juggling is required and this way is probably the least optimal so your mileage may vary.

 

  1. Get the URL for the short

  2. Get a URL from a regular video, doesn't matter which.

 

Short URL: https://youtube.com/shorts/K5B4iooiEyc?si=Qpsop4niwutHJD41

 

For the regular video URL the part you want is after the shorts slash up to the first question mark, so in this case would be K5B4iooiEyc

 

Now take the regular YouTube video URL and put that part copied from the short URL into the video URL after v=. so then it would become

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K5B4iooiEyc
