Peter Sutcliffe was one of Britain's most horrifying serial killers, responsible for the deaths of at least 13 women as well as seriously injuring 20 more. Prior to his trial Psychiatrists diagnosed Sutcliffe with schizophrenia. Had Doctors been informed about his "kill suit" this diagnosis would have been dismissed.

Prior to venturing out to commit murder, Sutcliffe would put his legs through an upside-down v-neck jumper, the elbows of which he had padded out so he could kneel during his attack. This also exposed his gentiles for easy access to sexually assault.

The "kill suit" was never brought up in his trial and was ordered to be burnt by the lead investigator. A savvy officer saved the jumper but access to it has been denied since the trial in 1981.

Sutcliffe is linked to a further 8 murders and the jumper is the key to proving he was killing long before the Ripper murders.
