I had my usual 18 month cardiac checkup this week and it was done by a P.A. She went through the procedure quickly, verifying the meds I was supposed to take. When covid started, I started reading and reading and learning and learning. I stopped taking my meds and my blood pressure went to 120/80. The P.A. did a lightning fast 2 second stethoscope listen on my heart and said I had a slight murmur and I should get a scan. Sure. why not I thought? And as I was leaving I noticed the nice shiny new SCAN department they've added since the last time I was there. I wonder how much they charge the insurance company for that.
