My eclipse almost got eclipsed but anon prevailed!
I used a T-ring to attach my ancient 35mm Canon 20D DSLR to my even ancienter 80mm f'6.25 refractor telescope atop a big ass camera tripod and clicked between clouds, prayed and got lucky. The hardest part was driving 2500 miles one way to get to southern TX. Damn clouds nearly thwarted me but I think they added a neat quality to the image.

That was my third total eclipse. Anon is getting old it it was likely our last eclipse before we die so wife anon and I decided to make the trip. We had a fucking blast cooped up in the car for 8 days….. bickering as we do and laughing all the way after 36 years of marriage. We have one more chance for a short eclipse in 2044 but we'll be in our 80's.
