Last bread had something about Tom Ogle's carburetor
You can build something similar
Get a large jar with a metal lid.
Get a short stiff tube, maybe metal
And just an inch or so longer than the tank depth
Make a hold through the lid and insert the tube
It needs to be attached to the lod so it cannot move and is just a millimeter or so from the bottom of the jar
Insert another similar tube but very short
Extending no more than a half or quarter inch below the lid
Fill the jar half full with gasoline
Now you have something that looks like a hookah
But there is no bowl of tobacco on top of the long tube
Disconnect the gas tank from the engine fuel pump
Attach some flexible tubing that can handle the sucking pressure
From the fuel pump
To the short tube
You have just installed a carburetor that sucks fuel vapors into the engine
This is the essence of Ogle's invention
Note that modern cars many not be capable of running with this thing
So don't try it without help from a mechanic
Unless you are using a decades older car
