Is Gaetz above the law? Did he get a pardon? Several Republicans have come forward and have made these allegations.

Exactly, and Kevin McCarthy has hinted at it and not too long ago I saw another Republican (can't remember who it was) say it to the public. They are being more bold and loud about it now.
