Pennsylvania: School & Media Coverup Brutal Attack by 13-Year-Old on Classmate

A 12-year-old girl was bashed in the head repeatedly with an oversize Stanley water bottle in the cafeteria of Pennbrook Middle School. The attacker screamed “I’m going to murder you” during the assault. The girl sustained head injuries and spent time in a hospital. The suspect was reported to be a 13-year-old biological male who may have gender issues, but Reduxx is the only media outlet reporting a description of the suspect they said goes by the name ‘Melanie’.

Emily, a female student, called ‘Mel’, the alleged attacker, ‘he’ during her statement to the school board. Emily said that she warned the guidance counselor for several days of Mel’s ‘hit list’ plan to attack girls. Emily again asked for help five hours before the attack that was to take place at lunch. The school staff failed to prevent the brutal attack. The school initially claimed that the incident was a fight, but police said it was an unprovoked attack.

Parents may have also warned the school of the impending attack. A parent said that the alleged attacker had been in the school for only three days as a new student. Another parent said that his son attended the prior school and had been previously threatened with a knife by the alleged assailant. However, Superintendent Todd Bauer denied the student was transferred to this school after being expelled for violent behavior at another school.
