Who cares what the shape is? Just keep the very smart people frustrated. Nothing pisses them off more than saying the earth is flat or we didn't go to the moon or the vax is bad. Anything to make them seethe to the point of wanting me to die is worth it. Flat earth we have. Prove it wrong and seethe the whole time. Get especially mad when a stupid peasant challenges something in the story and does not quite comprehend but will not just believe you.
