300 sick people! Norovirus alarm in marquee

Stuttgart – Norovirus alarm at the popular spring festival in Stuttgart. 300 people suffered from vomiting, diarrhea and nausea after visiting the same festival tent.

The health department and the veterinary authority are on site and are working hard to find the cause. City spokesman Sven Matis (44): “The symptoms indicate a viral illness. Those affected include both visitors and employees of the affected tent.”

Suspicion: The service staff at the “Göckelesmaier” marquee could have introduced the virus.
