This is kindof off topic but I believe people who damage other peoples property or steal from someone should have to pay it back to the victim. Whether by working it off or by financial restitution. Simply sending a poor asshole to jail does nothing to settle the debt with the victim. Off topic but it pisses me off that so many criminals without a pot to piss in commit theft or property damage and only get a jail sentence. The victims need restitution from criminals and thieves.

Sometimes "friends" aren't really friends. Sometimes people say "This person has been my best friend for 10 years". The real question is was that you best friend for 10 years, or your best friend 10 years ago. People change and move in different directions, don't hesitate to drop a bum friend off. on the side of the road, during your trip on the highway of life.

But they don't ever actually pay it back even if there is a restitution judgement.
