Long campaigns are tough, every war starts with the "I'll be home for Christmas" feeling but that wears out pretty quick. Can be hard to keep coming back time and again but then again, this is an experience like no other. Someday we will look back on this experience as something completely unique. No one who wasn't here will ever really know what it was like. Hope we do someday get the chance to meet in person - - at the Victory Parade??
