The Minister for Climate Change and Energy proposed an area in the Indian Ocean off the Bunbury region, Western Australia for offshore wind on the 20 February 2024.

The proposed area covers 7674 km2 and is set back at least 20kms from the shore. The area is located offshore between Dawesville and Cape Naturaliste, WA.
