The Get To Da Chopper Edition

So, after the board went South for a while, I kept scanning the skies. I noted the Nigerians visiting Stanstead again and as Europe was quiet, I went hunting in the US. What I found were helicopters, lots and lots of Medevac helicopters, with some Police ones mixed inโ€ฆ

Part 4

That's all I have for now, it was gone Midnight when I turned in. These look like extractions using Medevac helicopters, the same as we saw last November and December.

That many Medevacs in one area should have been related to news reports of some disaster that required huge medical response, but I wasn't aware of anything significant in the news, unless I missed something.

Do these relate to any news reports, or have I caught a happening? Over.

Yes, there is. Use a web site called ADS-B Exchange and once you have the radar screen up, go to Menu - Options - Filters, tick 'Enable Filters' then choose a 'Military' filter. That gets rid of all of the commercial traffic.

Planefagging 101 Bread is your guide in the Catalog.

I Lost access to QResearch for about an hour and a half last night. Did anyone else suffer an outage, as that might hint at something?

No problem. Now you have that sorted, you'll see a window on the right when you click on a plane. in that window you'll see a link called Flightaware.

If you click that, it opens the Flightaware site and tries to show you the flight tracking. I find that FA works better for long-distance stuff, as ADS-B can get shaky when you are out in the sticks or hundreds of miles from a shoreline. Flightaware tries to fill in the gaps using M-LAT data instead of ADS-B. Flightaware is also great for checking airport arrivals tables or looking at flight history.

Finally, there is Flightradar24. I use this when I want to see a specific type of aircraft, such as helicopters. Using the filter and using 'EC' as the search, I can see all Eurocopters in the air and clicking on them can give useful info about who the owner or operator is.

Using ADS-B Exchange with 'Species' and 'Helicopter' as the filter does pretty much the same.

Does this mean that we have a new cadet Planefag?

To all Planefags

Priority Message - Skykek, SkyKek, Do Not Answer

Something went down last night (besides my access to QResearch for a while). There were lots of Medevac helicopters in the air around midnight UK time and there were several in the air around some major cities.

Message ends.

Possible extractions are in progress, stay frosty and watch the skies for Medevacs and State Trooper helos. Over.

Look for patterns, things that look out of place. Three Medical flight helicopters and two State Trooper helicopters tends to stand out against the background, especially over Washington/Baltimore or other key cities.

If there's not been a major disaster on the news and these helos are in play, then it has to be something else. We know that the USMC train their helo pilots on UH-72 Lakotas, made by Eurocopter or under licence and a lot of EC35 / EC45 air ambulance helicopters are also made by Eurocopter. This means that the pilots will be familiar with the controls and handling of a Eurocopter air ambulance.

No coincidences. We saw lots (and I mean LOTS) of helicopter training going on around Miramar in recent months. This could be why.
