The AG is not in charge of anything.
The real management (deep staters) control everything. They keep the ceremonial head of the agencies insulated from what is really going on.
That's why the next administration needs to clean out the middle and upper management from the DOJ and FBI and let the rank and file (who kick ass and get things done) run the operation. All those agencies really need are some human resources people to manage the paperwork and the paychecks, plus a few staff to answer the phones and read emails. The so-called bosses all need to be chucked out so they can update their resumes.
