Gag order hearing moved to May 2

Judge Juan Merchan's gag order hearing will take place at 9:30 a.m. ET on Thursday, May 2.
It’s unclear why the date and time changed.
Before leaving the bench yesterday, the judge said the hearing would take place on May 1 at 2:15 p.m. ET.
It came after the prosecution filed a motion and argued in court that former President Donald Trump violated the gag order four more times over the past few days.

A last-minute switch could send a former leader of the Florida Legislature to Congress in place of eight-term Republican Rep. Bill Posey, who announced his retirement and backed a successor just before the deadline to get on the primary ballot.
Posey, who had received former President Donald Trump’s endorsement for another term in March, announced Friday that he won’t seek reelection in the solidly GOP 8th District and threw his support behind former state Senate President Mike Haridopolos.
