She was black today cause it all depends on which part of her “heritage” they choose to highlight
And most HR ‘employees’ are the worst offenders of the shit they write ee’s up for
Even in late 80s early 90s Bay Area tech Cos it was getting bad
The 3F department (fuckin’ fee-fees)
Well jokes on them as just because a book they wrote sez it that doesn't make it true
It does for those who don’t realize
That’s gonna be a hard one for most to process.
Gonna be a while though
There are much smarter ways to do that.
Being sly apparently wasn’t on whoever set that up in the first place
That entire sport is nothing but political fundraising from top to bottom
Ask the former owner of it
It was passable (at least in Bay Area) up until about 98/99 then it got all gestapo when the big techs started hiring those HR pukes right out of college. On a positive note one place actually paid for employees to get higher degrees (A.A to PhDs) and without an agreement to stay on after completion. I ran that entire program for 4 years-cost them tons of $ but not too many left (except the MBAs) because they felt gratitude that the Co invested in them. Plus it made it a better environment to work in as they all worked together then went to school at night (classes were at work) so really convenient and ALL OF IT (even books) paid for by Co.
The leader in analog chipsets at time is far as I’ll go in naming it (should be easy to figure that oNe out for Sure)…caps a hint
That would NEVER happen now as always someone cheaper or moar compliant as Cos don’t care about work force…they are expendable
Yes even when I began career in mid 80s but way more employee oriented as it did protect Co if you screwed up.
But you had to REALLY screw up to get fired back in the mid to late 80s-Knew a guy who got caught smokin’ dope MANY times at a certain Fruit Co that I worked at too-nothing ever happened to him while I was there
That all changed in early to mid 90s but it still had programs to help and advance people.
Just dont do stupid shit
Nothing like today where you just look at someone and bang! “Racist”
And screw managing people nowadays OMG where to start on that with today’s workforce

Different times

Can’t remember where I heard/saw it (blog or something years ago) that the word education means training of animals and/or child-rearing.
Never confirmed it but makes sense.
Did 2 years and fucked off to bar (the rest seemed such a waste) had skills that few others had at time Knew computers when few even had one in workplace-so moar down to times and a little luck
School of life much better imo

Sinking of Olympic (Titanic) and well known who was on the passenger list too, illegal tax day, and Notre Dame Cathedral burned up.
Just a coincidence I’m sure
