It's hard for Hamas to make a deal because they cannot produce the hostages. Hamas is incapable of holding Jewish people for a long time without killing them.

Let that sink in. Hamas is mainly Palestinians who work for the Mossad, this is why they were let over the border and no alarms until after they left the country. Now that they see their people haven't fled or taken in as refugees from other countries but are being genocide, they are killing their hostages.
