The Michigan Advance asked Rogers’ campaign to comment on his residency. A spokesperson confirmed Rogers is living at his sister-in-law’s Brighton house pending renovations on the White Lake property, but declined to comment further despite repeated requests. When reached for comment, the National Republican Senatorial Campaign Committee referred the Advance to Rogers’ campaign.

Eagle Pass: Local resident, Luis De La Torre, came across an alligator while fishing this morning at the Rio Grande.

Previous sightings of alligators have been confirmed by Border Patrol.

NEW: Per CBP source, Border Patrol's San Diego sector apprehended 2,000 illegal aliens yesterday alone, including 206 Chinese nationals. San Diego sector has seen the most illegal crossings of all the 9 southern border sectors in April, as mass street releases are ongoing there.

San Diego sector has now recorded at least 214,855 apprehensions since October 1st, from at least 75+ countries around the world.

Second busiest sector yesterday was El Paso sector, which recorded 1,100+ apprehensions of illegal aliens, with Mexicans and Venezuelans being the top nationalities apprehended there.

The traditionally busy RGV and Del Rio (Eagle Pass) sectors in Texas remain remarkably low.

For perspective, RGV sector had 331 yesterday, while Del Rio sector had 371.
