there are studies that confirm those aminosugars bind to receptors on the lymphocytes
how those receptors signal the white blood cell to attack cancers is not precisely known (AFAIK)
it does sound a lot like Burzyinski's antineoplastons, which he discovered 50+ yrs ago, and proved they activate the immune system to attack cancerous cells
