Lawmakers have broadened the definition of anti-Semitism in the latest legislation

The Antisemitism Awareness Act was approved by 320 votes to 91 on Wednesday, with 21 Republicans and 70 Democrats being among those opposing the legislation.

The bill would require the US Department of Education to adopt a broad definition of anti-Semitism used by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA), which describes the phenomenon as “certain perception of Jews, which may be expressed as hatred toward Jews.”

It also contains a list of “contemporary examples of anti-Semitism,” which have been shared online by social media users, including Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has said.

Among the examples of hatred toward Jews mentioned in the document is “using the symbols and images associated with classic anti-Semitism (e.g. claims of Jews killing Jesus or blood libel) to characterize Israel or Israelis.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene was among the lawmakers who voted against the bill. “Antisemitism is wrong,” she wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, but added that she would not support legislation that “could convict Christians of antisemitism for believing the Gospel that says Jesus was handed over to Herod to be crucified by the Jews.”

Other anti-Semitic actions mentioned in the bill include “accusing Jewish citizens of being more loyal to Israel… than to the interests of their own nations,” making allegations “about a world Jewish conspiracy and or of Jews controlling the media, economy, government,” as well as “drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis.”

Israel issues ICC ultimatum – Axios

The Jewish state has reportedly said it will punish Palestine if the court pursues its leaders

Israel has warned the US that it will punish the Palestinian Authority and cause its collapse if the International Criminal Court (ICC) issues arrest warrants for the Jewish state’s leaders, Axios reported on Thursday.

Several media outlets reported last month that the ICC could charge Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and several other top-ranking officials with war crimes over the ongoing military campaign against Hamas in Gaza.

Israel launched its massive offensive following the October 7 attack by the radical group, which claimed the lives of around 1,200 Israelis. The response by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in the densely populated Palestinian enclave has come under increasing scrutiny and has been widely criticized – even by the country’s US and European allies.

According to Gaza authorities, Israeli strikes have killed more than 34,000 people, mostly civilians. In January, the United Nations International Court of Justice (ICJ) found that it was “plausible” that Israeli forces had committed genocide in the enclave.

According to Israeli and US officials who spoke to Axios reporter Barak Ravid, the Israeli government told the Biden administration that, if arrest warrants are issued, it will consider the Palestinian Authority responsible and will retaliate with strong action against it.

One possible measure could be to freeze the transfer of tax revenues that Israel collects for the Palestinian Authority, Axios has claimed. Without these funds, the Palestinian Authority would go bankrupt, it added.

Another possible course of action would be “an official decision to punish the Palestinian Authority, which could lead to its collapse,” a senior Israeli official told Axios.

The country’s leadership believes the threat of ICC arrest warrants to be real, the publication added. The outlet did not specify what action was under consideration by Israel.

According to Axios, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu asked US President Joe Biden last week to stop the ICC from pursuing him, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, and IDF chief of staff Herzi Halevi. The Biden administration reportedly conveyed to ICC officials that arrest warrants against the Israeli leaders would be a mistake.

The Kansas House voted 82-43 to overturn Gov. Laura Kelly’s veto of a bill that also would have barred state employees who work with children from promoting social transitioning for kids who question or struggle with their gender identities. But supporters were two votes short of the necessary two-thirds majority.

Republicans who backed the bill argued that a ban would protect vulnerable children from what they described as experimental health care that could create long-term health issues. It would not only have banned surgeries for minors but also puberty blockers and hormone treatments. The Senate voted Monday morning 27-13 to override Kelly’s veto, the exact margin supporters needed there.

The two Republicans responsible were Reps. Jesse Borjon and Susan Concannon, who tried to frame their vote as support for limited government.

“We hear of bullying and ask authorities to make it stop,” Concannon said in a speech on the House floor. “We hear about mental health, about suicide, and ask why. We’re not listening to the impacted youth. Government involvement is not the answer.”

Turkey Halts All Trade With Israel As Relations At Breaking Point

For months, relations between Turkey and Israel have been on the brink of breaking point. Already there has been the recalling of ambassadors, inflammatory rhetoric exchanged between leaders, and then things got more serious when Turkey a month ago moved to restrict 54 products from being exported to Israel until a Gaza ceasefire can be reached.

But Turkey's government on Thursday has taken the next big step, halting all exports and imports to and from Israel, according to Bloomberg which cited Turkish government officials. It has begun effective today, but Ankara has yet to officially announce the dramatic move.

Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz has confirmed that the breaking headlines are accurate. He said that Ankara has already begun to block Israeli imports and exports at Turkish ports.

Katz has ordered the foreign ministry to immediately pursue alternatives for trade which focus on "local production and imports from other countries."

Bilateral trade volume between the two countries, which prior to Oct.7 were enjoying warmer relations, had stood at $5.4 billion last year.

Turkey sells $5B-$7B of exports to Israel every year.

But President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has been unrelenting in his attacks on Israel and directed against Netanyahu personally.

On the surface these claims certainly seem plausible given Soros' known history as a deep state financier and funder of political agitation. Still, as critical thinkers evidence has to take precedent over speculation. So what is the evidence?

The basis for the allegation asserts that three specific individuals; Nidaa Lafi, Craig Birckhead-Morton, and Malak Afaneh, and three organizations which they are all closely associated with: Education for Just Peace in the Middle East (which operates publicly under the name U.S. Campaign for Palestinian Rights, or USPCR), Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), and Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP).

The article then goes on to draw attention to the fact that these individuals have been involved with the protests, and the organizations with which they've been associated has received funding from nonprofits which received funding from Soros's Open Society Foundation. Connecting a line of dots to assert that Soros is funding the protests.

Although, it is interesting to note that when reading NYP's supposed exposé that the article in question doesn't actually provide any sort of financial documents or other records to substantiate their claims. However, at the time of this writing we were able to locate publicly available financial records concerning the grants from the Open Society Foundation to the three organizations in question.

Arizona Senate Votes to Repeal 1864 Near-Total Abortion Ban

Two Republicans voted with Democrats in the Arizona Senate on Wednesday to repeal the state’s 1864 near-total abortion restriction.

CIA, Mike Pompeo exposed for allegedly hiding info from Trump: Report

A new undercover report by the O’Keefe Media Group claims that leaders of the intelligence community, including former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Director and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and former CIA Director Gina Haspel, withheld information from former President Donald Trump throughout his administration.

On Wednesday, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) publicly called for the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government to investigate the allegations raised by the O’Keefe Media Group regarding federal agencies withholding information from a sitting president.

Gaetz shared an undercover video posted by James O’Keefe of a Deloitte contractor who allegedly has worked as a program manager in Cyber Operations at the CIA and the National Security Agency (NSA).

“This footage contains evidence that American intelligence agencies withheld intelligence from President Donald Trump before and during his presidency and used Foreign Intelligence Act (FISA) authorities to spy on President Trump and may be doing so today,” Gaetz wrote Wednesday in a letter to Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio).

The video, which included recordings of various meetings between the alleged government contractor and an undercover reporter, shows a man named Amjad Fseisi admitting that multiple intelligence agencies intentionally withheld information from Trump over concerns that Trump would “disclose it.”

In the video, Fseisi said that the intelligence agencies “all got together and said, ‘We’re not gonna tell Trump.'” The contractor claimed that the effort to withhold information from Trump included the leaders of the various intelligence agencies.

“The executive staff,” Fseisi said. “We’re talking about the director and his subordinates,” which he claimed included Haspel and Pompeo, who both served as CIA directors under the Trump administration.

Fseisi claimed that the intelligence agencies “kept information from him [Trump] because we knew he’d f-cking disclose it.” He added, “There are certain people that would…give him a high-level overview but never give him any details. You know why? Because he’ll leak those details…He’s a Russian asset. He’s owned by the f-cking Russians.”

Netanyahu Tells Blinken He Won’t Agree to Permanent Ceasefire To Free the Hostages

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told US Secretary of State Antony Blinken during a meeting on Wednesday that he would not agree to a permanent ceasefire and end to Israeli operations in Gaza in exchange for a deal that would free Israeli hostages.

“He told Blinken that we are interested in reaching a deal and determined to topple Hamas,” an Israeli official told The Times of Israel.

For months, Hamas has said it would free all remaining Israeli hostages in exchange for a permanent truce, an Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, and the release of Palestinian prisoners. But Netanyahu has maintained that any ceasefire would only be temporary.

Netanyahu also told Blinken that Israel will invade the southern Gaza city of Rafah, which is packed with over 1 million civilians. “The Rafah operation does not depend on anything,” Netanyahu said, according to a statement from his office. “Prime Minister Netanyahu made this clear to Secretary Blinken.”

A day earlier, Netanyahu said Rafah would be invaded “with or without” a hostage deal. The US claims it’s opposed to Israel invading Rafah under the current circumstances since it would incur huge civilian casualties, but the Biden administration isn’t putting any real pressure on Netanyahu.

During his visit to Israel, Blinken said Hamas was solely to blame for the lack of a ceasefire and hostage deal. “There is a very strong proposal on the table right now. Hamas needs to say yes, and needs to get this done,” he said.

Hamas hit back, saying Israeli officials have said Netanyahu was sabotaging negotiations, which has been previously reported in Israeli media.

“Blinken’s comments contradict reality. It is not strange for Blinken, who is known as the foreign minister of Israel, not America, to make such a statement,” a Hamas official told Reuters. “Even the Israeli negotiating team admitted Netanyahu was the one who was hindering reaching an agreement.”

Israeli settlers vandalize Gaza aid in latest attack on humanitarian convoy

Food and medicine have been blocked from reaching Gaza several times due to settler sabotage and military delays

A group of Israeli settlers attacked and damaged an aid convoy heading to Gaza from Jordan on 30 April.

Videos show settlers climbing the aid trucks and dumping their food contents onto the ground as Gaza continues to face a looming famine.

The new shipment of aid to Gaza was announced by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Tuesday following his meeting with Jordanian officials.

The Foreign Ministry of Jordan slammed the settlers in a statement, referring to them as “extremists.”

“Today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs condemned in the strongest terms the attack by extremist Israeli settlers on two Jordanian aid convoys carrying food, flour, and other humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip,” it said in the statement.

The government body added that one of the trucks was headed to the Kerem Shalom (Karam Salem) crossing, and the other was the first truck expected to enter the strip through the Erez crossing.

“The Ministry considered the failure of the Israeli government to protect the two aid convoys and allowing them to be attacked as a gross violation of its legal obligations, as the occupying power, and of its obligations to allow aid to enter Gaza,” the statement continued.

The two trucks continued despite the attack, according to the foreign ministry’s official spokesman, Dr Sufyan al-Qudah, to deliver needed aid “in light of the humanitarian catastrophe [Gaza] is facing.”

Israeli settlers have repeatedly attacked and obstructed aid trucks from entering Gaza.

Footage of setters blocking an aid truck at the Nitzana border crossing in February shows them smiling and carrying flags. One claimed to be “protecting Israel” by “blocking food from Hamas.”

“Someone is going to sleep hungry tonight,” a settler could be heard saying into a megaphone.

In another case, in the Ashdod port, roughly 38 kilometers north of Gaza, settlers barred trucks from leaving the port and began inspecting the trucks’ documents and contents.

Anadolu Agency reported that one settler brought his entire family with him “to stop the trucks from supplying oxygen to Palestinian resistance group Hamas in Gaza.”

“All the Gaza people, from our side, are terrorists,” the settler said. “Why should we send food and fuel to Gaza? It's not normal.”

An Oxfam report also revealed that aid entry into Gaza was deliberately delayed for up to 20 days as deliveries were “subjected to onerous, repetitive and unpredictable bureaucratic procedures.”

One of these modern age blood libels, which once again showcases Jews in a conspiratorial scheming light, accuses billionaire philanthropist George Soros of being Israel’s pawn in an attempt to either inflame inner conflicts or distract public discourse from the ongoing war in Gaza. Soros is known for funding progressive organizations.

In a post reaching almost 120,000 views, fringe conspiracy theorist David Icke similarly accused Soros of being “Israel’s man,” accusing “Ultra Zionist Sabbatian Cultists” of ‘funding both sides’ in an attempt to stir civil war in the US, all the while controlling both Biden and Trump, pointing at the ethno-religious background of high ranking members in the US administration.

Another X account named “World Alternative Media” tweeted concisely: “George Soros is an agent of Israel. He’s funding the Pro-Palestine protests. Do you understand yet?” with comments accusing Soros of being “an agent of the Rothschild family, which helped create Israel.”

Likewise, an account named Dark Knight claimed that “Soros IS part of Israel, but is funding anti-Israel protests,” claiming that “This is all right in front of you, in your faces. Sow division, profit from that, then offer the solution.” Additionally, a user named SHAREverything accused ‘Zionists’ of “pulling every BS propaganda trick under the sun to try to deflect and divert the public’s attention from the gruesome crimes Jews are committing in Palestine with US tax dollars. The paper extensively reviewed the role of regulatory T cells (“Treg”) cells in the immune system, with a particular focus on the disruption of their behavior caused by the mRNA injections.

Treg cells modulate the immune system, maintain tolerance to self-antigens, and prevent autoimmune disease.

Treg cells also suppress the immune response to cancer and have been shown to contribute to the development and progression of the disease.

The paper found that post-vaccination, the subsequent spike protein expression “may lead to a harmful influence on the immune system of vaccinees and subsequent accelerated development of cancer and autoimmune disease.”

Although the paper specifically reviewed these conditions relating to covid mRNA injections, the concerns raised in the paper apply to all mRNA injections.

Jessica Seinfeld and Bill Ackman fund pro-Israel counterprotests at colleges

Jessica Seinfeld, cookbook author and wife to comedian Jerry Seinfeld, is funding a pro-Israel counterprotest at UCLA—where violence broke out Tuesday night after a mob attacked demonstrators inside a pro-Palestine encampment.

A GoFundMe for the effort, which Seinfeld promoted in an Instagram story this week after contributing at least $5,000, has since made the majority of its donations anonymous. The fundraising page has raised more than $93,000 as of Wednesday and also changed its organizer name and description since launching over the weekend.

The Daily Beast left messages for reps for the Seinfelds.

"I just gave to this GoFundMe to support more allies like yesterday's at UCLA," Seinfeld wrote this week. "More cities are being planned so please give what you can. Donations are annonymous [sic]. We will continue to share our light and love, as proud American Jews."

It's unclear whether Seinfeld coordinated with the GoFundMe to make donations anonymous after they'd been public earlier in the week. Nor is it clear whether supporters or organizers of this fundraiser were among the 100 or so counterprotesters, some wearing masks, who ripped down barricades or tossed objects including fireworks into the camp opposing Israel's war on Gaza.

Still, it hasn't stopped X users from roasting Seinfeld.

One observer, who shared video of a mob violently attacking the encampment, wrote, "Jessica Seinfeld must be elated seeing her 5k donation come to fruition."

Jessica Seinfeld, cookbook author and wife to comedian Jerry Seinfeld, is funding a pro-Israel counterprotest at UCLA—where violence broke out Tuesday night after a mob attacked demonstrators inside a pro-Palestine encampment.

A GoFundMe for the effort, which Seinfeld promoted in an Instagram story this week after contributing at least $5,000, has since made the majority of its donations anonymous. The fundraising page has raised more than $93,000 as of Wednesday and also changed its organizer name and description since launching over the weekend.

The Daily Beast left messages for reps for the Seinfelds.

"I just gave to this GoFundMe to support more allies like yesterday's at UCLA," Seinfeld wrote this week. "More cities are being planned so please give what you can. Donations are annonymous [sic]. We will continue to share our light and love, as proud American Jews."

It's unclear whether Seinfeld coordinated with the GoFundMe to make donations anonymous after they'd been public earlier in the week. Nor is it clear whether supporters or organizers of this fundraiser were among the 100 or so counterprotesters, some wearing masks, who ripped down barricades or tossed objects including fireworks into the camp opposing Israel's war on Gaza.

Still, it hasn't stopped X users from roasting Seinfeld.

One observer, who shared video of a mob violently attacking the encampment, wrote, "Jessica Seinfeld must be elated seeing her 5k donation come to fruition."
