A mysterious “black book” believed to belong to the late pedophile financier, which revealed the names and addresses of 221 previously undisclosed people, is going up for auction — and bidders are being assured that their identities will be kept secret.

It could fetch up to $200,000 — or more, the auction house owner told the Daily Beast, which first reported the story.

None of the liberals calling for Trump's head know what he's accused of, they just know he did it. They don't remember how the previous accusations ended or even what they were, despite having taken the strongest of positions; and here they are, again, taking the strongest position on the one issue they want you to know they care about: Donald Trump is Guilty.

So that's the Manhattan jury pool. Almost all of them read the New York Times so it's no wonder. But to be fair, no one else knows what Trump's accused of, either. Not the lawyers, not the pundits nor the people they interview. Three weeks in, no one on either side or on the outside knows what the crime is. I heard a Politico reporter tell Brian Lehrer that a prosecutor doesn't have to say what the charges are, but can figure them out as he goes. Lehrer affected that this made perfect sense to him, and I think they're right: Alvin Bragg himself doesn't know what the charges are.

Just months ago, 120,000 Armenians fled Nagorno-Karabakh, a semi-autonomous region of Armenia known to its inhabitants as Artsakh that contains the oldest Christian nation’s oldest churches. Yerevan has called the resulting humanitarian crisis an ethnic cleansing — a predicate for genocide, according to the United Nations.

For years, Azerbaijan has paid lobbyists in Washington, D.C., to inform congressmen about the issues in the South Caucus mountains. According to the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft, Azerbaijan has spent over $7 million since 2015 on lobbying activities. Although that’s not a massive sum (especially when compared to the efforts of nations like the United Arab Emirates), but the Quincy Institute points out that the amount is large enough to provide “critical context for understanding Washington’s muted reaction to Azerbaijan’s recent aggression, seemingly at odds with the strong moral position U.S. officials have taken over Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.”

A state legal action in Pennsylvania is sparking outrage, online and elsewhere, for the result it demanded: Two farmers arrested and jailed on 30-day sentences with no sentencing hearing and no option for bail.

Authorities say that's the process they use for contempt charges, for which Ethan Wentworth of Airville, York County, and Rusty Herr of Christiana, Lancaster County, have been serving time since last month.

Broadcast outlet WPMT in Harrisburg reported the government's complaint concerns their company, NoBull Solutions, which offers to help dairy farmers with their reproductive management of cattle.

The fight apparently stems from allegations the two were practicing veterinary medicine without a license for running ultrasound test on cattle, a procedure that is common for farmers to use for various reasons.

The result was an investigation by the state of Pennsylvania, where officials demanded that the two turn over their records.

They failed to do what state officials demanded, and the report notes that resulted in contempt orders against the men.

The state's court officials told the broadcast outlet that there is no option for bail, and no "sentencing hearing" required for contempt charges. Authorities simply arrest the suspects and jail them, the report said.
