A multi-pronged rescue effort has been underway since they were found nearly a week ago. The trapped group went about nine days before they were first found and rescue teams from several nations joined in efforts to rescue the boys and their coach.

San Francisco Loses Medical Convention Over Unsafe, Squalid Streets
A major medical association has backed out of holding its annual 15,000-attendee convention in San Francisco after a 20-pound bag of feces was dumped on a sidewalk in the city last week.
The unnamed, Chicago-based medical association’s decision to hold the convention elsewhere leaves San Francisco with a $40 million loss and the potential for even greater financial losses if other groups decide to follow suit.
According to NBC Bay Area, the convention business brings in approximately $2 billion in revenues for San Francisco annually.
