You misunderstand the system.

A hash is just something sent through a cryptographic function that generates a unique fingerprint for it.

Your IP will hash the same way every time.

Your subnet will hash the same way every time.

dd in your post history and those are the only three data points available to BO's/BV's.

You are correct in that the Salt that the server uses will be updated (rather infrequently) and thus the hashs will all change, but again that's very infrequent and Ron's been going hard on the security so they did this recently and it won't change for awhile.

Didn't claim that.

Go ahead and try it for yourself

Notice the difference in hashes?

8ch gives you a hash of each - That's all, there's no IP addresses needed for the purpose of just finding patterns.

In fact I'm very confident the salt won't be updated for awhile because they also changed it so that we only see the end snippet of the entire hash.

So yes, anyone with slight cryptographic knowledge will tell you the hashs won't 'rotate' as you so ignorantly believe.

Well no, if your VPN was smart they wouldn't have any nodes on similar subnets.

In fact, with the system of collecting hashs and finding patterns I was able to greatly minimize the damage to VPN's by only banning the RANGES that contained the all the spammers.

These ranges are usually in the form of a VPS or a simple owned range of IPs'.

These are the 'powerhouses' I talked about, and are very easy to isolate and ban.

You also miss the point about how one would have to acquire a large amount of IP's to post from if they want to build a farm, and this usually happens by purchasing a range of IP addresses - usually spanning from the mid point of one subnet to another, just so they aren't ALL on the same subnet.

Have you never given any thought about what goes through our enemies minds?
