H.P. Lovecraft (1890-1937) and Timothy McVeigh (1968-2001) were both racists with unusual imaginations and political views. Lovecraft was an author who influenced the horror and science fiction genres with his work, including The Call of Cthulhu, At the Mountains of Madness, and The Shadow over Innsmouth. McVeigh was a US Army veteran and security guard who bombed the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995, killing 168 people and injuring 680.
