Genesis 32:30
New International Version
30 So Jacob called the place Peniel,[a] saying, “It is because I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spared.”
Was pretty specific here. Jacob met God face to face. God came in the flesh momentarily a few times, and as a burning bush if that counts. Jesus was different in that he had nothing and died for God, for the Ignorance of Man to wake them up from their slumber. Jesus received no wealth, or fertile wives like the other prophets. Unconditional love of God.
