Back in the day you couldn't get close enough to a crow to shoot it with a 22 rifle. Oldanon knows. As a kid I got a mail in taxidermy instruction manual. Went crow hunting. Couldn't get within 100 yards of them. Settled for shooting a squirrel. Got it mounted , but didn't get its eyes in. Moved on to another adventure. It sat in the one car garage we had for years.
