NGO Monitor Smears Pro-Palestine Students as Linked to Terrorists

Jerusalem-based NGO Monitor continues its presence on American college campuses, smearing pro-Palestine students as linked to terrorists.

NGO Monitor is making its rounds again — this time attempting to smear pro-Palestine groups by linking them to designated terrorist organizations.

In a press release published today, the Jerusalem-based nonprofit asserted that the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and its subsidiary Samidoun are participating in protests across American college campuses.

According to the presser, PFLP played a part in the Oct. 7 attack against Israel and is a designated terrorist group by the US, Canada, the EU and Israel. NGO Monitor alleges that “Students have been documented while carrying PFLP posters, flying the PFLP flag, hosting PFLP-link speakers, and reading PFLP publications.”

The House must impeach President Joe Biden for withholding ammunition from Israel for political reasons, Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) suggested Thursday.

Biden made a commitment on Wednesday to stop the shipment of offensive weapons to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to prevent Israel from attacking Hamas in Rafah.

Rafah Border Crossing Remains Closed as Israel Tightens Starvation Blockade

Israel said it opened the Kerem Shalom crossing on Wednesday but the UN and the US said no aid came through the crossing

The Rafah border crossing into Gaza remained closed on Wednesday following its capture by Israeli forces, cutting off vital aid deliveries after the UN’s World Food Program warned Palestinians in northern Gaza are already facing a “full-blown famine.”

Israeli sources told The Times of Israel that the Rafah crossing with Egypt will remain closed amid Israeli military operations on the Palestinian side, and it’s unclear how long that will be. The US claims it’s opposed to Israel restricting aid shipments into Gaza, but President Biden backed Israel’s operation to capture the crossing, which has tightened the starvation blockade.

Israel claimed on Wednesday that the nearby Kerem Shalom crossing that connects Gaza and Israel was re-opened. But both the US and the UN said no aid entered Gaza via Kerem Shalom since there is no one to distribute it and there are active military operations in the area. Gaza border officials said six of their employees came under fire when trying to approach the Kerem Shalom crossing.

Only the northern Erez border crossing remains open, and only a small number of trucks have entered. Israeli authorities said 60 aid trucks came through the Erez crossing on Tuesday, just a fraction of the 500 aid groups say is needed at a minimum, a level that has not been reached since October 7.

Rafah has been the only entry point for fuel, which is needed to deliver aid, power hospitals, and for other humanitarian purposes. The UN’s child relief agency, UNICEF, said the closure of the Rafah crossing threatens the entire humanitarian relief effort.

“With that crossing now being closed, our whole humanitarian operation on the ground is compromised,” said UNICEF spokesman Ricardo Pires, according to The Washington Post. “If the crossing is not urgently re-opened, the entire civilian population in Rafah and in the Gaza Strip will be at greater risk of famine, disease and death.”

Israel took control of the Rafah crossing as the construction of the $320 million US-built pier off the coast of Gaza was completed, but it’s unclear when it will bring in aid shipments. The US built the pier instead of pressuring Israel to open more land crossings, which are by far the most efficient way to get aid into the Strip.

Google has funded EcoHealth’s virus research for at least 14 years

A 2018 research paper published in the journal PLoS One reveals something important about Google’s involvement in the development of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that is alleged to have caused the covid pandemic.

The 2018 paper, titled ‘Serologic and behavioural risk survey of workers with wildlife contact in China’, reported on a study conducted in Guangdong Province, China, which aimed to identify risky populations, occupations and behaviours that contribute to the transmission of zoonotic pathogens with pandemic potential.

It was authored by researchers from Yale University, Metabiota, EcoHealth Alliance, the Guangdong Provincial Centre for Disease Control and Prevention and the University of Washington Centre for One Health Research – one of them being Peter Daszak.

But, as Natural News wrote, check out the conflict of interest statement: “Metabiota Inc. is a commercial company that received funding from Google/Skoll.”

SYRIA REPORTS LOSSES AFTER ISRAELI ATTACK ON BUILDING NEAR DAMASCUS (VIDEOS)

Syrian air defenses early on May 9 engaged Israeli missiles launched from the direction of the occupied Golan Heights towards a building in Damascus’ outskirts, the Syrian Arab News Agency reported, citing a military official.

Only some of the missiles were intercepted, the unnamed official told the state-run news agency, adding that losses were limited to material.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a London-based pro-opposition monitoring group, said that the Israeli attack targeted a cultural center and training camp of the Iraqi Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba armed faction, an Iraqi armed faction, close to the Shiite town of Set Zaynab in the southern outskirts of Damascus.

KIEV FORCES ATTACK RUSSIAN CITIES WITH DRONES AND ROCKETS ON VICTORY DAY, WOUND CIVILIANS (VIDEOS)

Kiev forces launched a series of rocket and drone attacks against four different Russian regions on May 9 as people were commemorating victory against Nazi Germany in WWII.

In a morning statement, the Russian Ministry of Defense said that air defenses intercepted 15 Czech-made RM-70 rockets and a suicide drone over the Belgorod region and shot down two more drones over the Bryansk region and three others over the Kursk.

The ministry announced in two other statements released later in the morning that four more drones were intercepted over Belgorde.

Four additional drones were shot down over the region in the afternoon, according to a separate statement released by the ministry.

At least eight people, including an 11-year-old girl, were injured in Belgorod as a result of one of the morning attacks, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on his official Telegram channel.

Dozens of apartments in multi-storey buildings and a private house were also damaged in the city of Belgorod, the governor added. Some of the buildings suffered direct hits, with video footage of the aftermath showing extensive damage.

In a separate attack, at least six drones targeted in the early morning an oil facility near Anapa in the Krasnodar region, according to local emergency services. The attack reportedly caused some damage and triggered a fire, but resulted in no injuries.

AIPAC-funded senators Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) and Roger Marshall (R-KS) have put forward a bill seeking to designate student protesters as "terrorists" and put them on the No Fly List for protesting Israel.

"Very simply stated … if you're spewing hatreds towards Jews or anybody then we want you to go on the No Fly List," Sen. Marshall told Fox Business earlier this week while touting the bill.

Though Marshall said it would apply to "Jews or anybody" having "hatreds" spewed at them, the text of the bill actually incredibly says it's only for Jews.

Gaza rescue teams discover third mass grave in ruins of Al-Shifa Hospital

Seven mass graves holding hundreds of bodies have so far been discovered in three hospitals that were decimated by the Israeli army

Palestinian medical teams on 8 May unearthed dozens of bodies from a third mass grave at what remains of Gaza City's Al-Shifa Hospital, raising the number of mass graves left behind by the Israeli army inside Gaza hospitals to seven.

The chairman of the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor, Ramy Abdu, said that the grave contains the bodies of “dozens of Palestinians, including women, children, and patients, executed by Israel.”

“We condemn in the strongest terms the crimes of genocide and the continuous killing committed by the occupation army against our Palestinian people,” the Government Media Office in Gaza said via Telegram.

“This brings the number of mass graves found inside hospitals to seven: one in Kamal Adwan Hospital, three graves in Al-Shifa Medical Complex, and three graves in the Nasser Medical Complex … 520 martyrs have been recovered from these graves so far,” the official statement details.

Gaza officials also stressed that they “hold the US administration, the international community, and the occupation fully responsible for these mass graves and this blatant aggression.”

International organizations have launched probes into the mass graves left behind by the Israeli army, as many of the bodies unearthed have shown signs of torture, summary execution, and even of having been buried alive.

Rescue teams have also reported seeing bodies wrapped in plastic bags with Hebrew writing on them, with many showing their hands were tied behind their backs. Doctors, nurses, children, and the elderly have been among those found buried.

“Some of the bodies found have evaporated and turned to ash. International institutions must identify the type of weapons used [by Israel],” the Gaza Civil Defense said in late April.

Over 13,000 Palestinians have gone missing since the start of the Israeli genocide in Gaza, Euro-Med has reported. This includes Palestinians trapped under the rubble of buildings destroyed by airstrikes, as well as those who have been forcibly disappeared and detained or left buried in unmarked mass graves.

Protecting Israel Is Washington’s Number One Job

When, as expected, President Joe Biden signs off on the Antisemitism Awareness Act the Department of Education will be empowered to send so-called antisemitism monitors to enforce civil rights law at public schools as well as at colleges to observe and report on levels of hostility towards Jews. The monitors’ reports will eventually wind up in Congress which can propose remedies as required, including cutting funding and recommending civil rights charges in extreme cases. One of the more regrettable features of the act is that it accepts the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance definition of antisemitism as it applies to the state of Israel, making criticism of the Jewish state ipso facto antisemitism. Its text includes the “targeting of the state of Israel, conceived as a Jewish collectivity” as an antisemitic act. In reality, however, actual antisemitism is not as prevalent as Israel partisans claim. Most of what they call antisemitism is simply criticism of the legally self-proclaimed apartheid “Jewish State” and most of the animosity Israel experiences is opposition to its brutal treatment of the Palestinians. Giving legal sanction to that presumption that Israel must be protected from bigots means that the United States is well on the way to forbidding any criticism of Israel at all. Americans can criticize their own country or nations in Europe, or at least they are able to do so currently, but bad-mouthing Israel could soon constitute a criminal offense.

The Antisemitism Awareness Act is just one aspect of how the power of organized Jewish groups over the government and media is shaping the kind of society that Americans will be living in in the near future. It will be a society devoid of several fundamental constitutional rights, like free speech, due to deference to the preferences of one tiny demographic. And the one most interesting aspect of that power is how it has successfully hidden the fact that it even exists while also propagating the myth that Jews and Israel are especially worthy of special consideration because they are frequently or even always perceived as victims, an extension of the holocaust myth.

Indeed, Israel is recently always in the news and most often completely protected by the media and the talking heads elements, particularly true if one sinks to watching Fox or reading the Wall Street Journal, New York Times or Washington Post. Even the loathsome Benjamin Netanyahu frequently gets good press while nonviolent student peace demonstrators are invariably described as anti-Israeli or pro-Hamas terrorists even when they are assaulted by Zionist thugs led by an Israeli special ops officer and funded and armed by Jewish billionaires as occurred recently in Los Angeles.

Nevertheless, sometimes something slips through the defenses that reveals all too clearly what is going on. In responding to a question from a journalist, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken made a claim recently that absolutely no one who has spent any time in Washington will believe. The journalist had asked whether the Federal Government in making its foreign policy decisions tended to favor and/or excuse the behavior of some countries while condemning others for exactly the same actions. Blinken replied “We apply the same standard to everyone. And that doesn’t change whether the country in question is an adversary, a competitor, a friend or an ally.”

Everyone in the room understood very clearly that Blinken wasn’t telling the truth and was trying to preserve the fiction that the United States holds allies and clients to the same “rules based international order” standard that it uses for others, most notably competitor nations like Russia and China or adversaries like Iran. No one takes what Blinken says seriously in any event, and it does not help his general credibility when he feels compelled to lie for no reason whatsoever.

Would that someone in the room had had the temerity to cite one of Blinken’s most egregiously partisan comments, his greeting to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the airport tarmac of Ben Gurion airport shortly after the October 7th Hamas attack. He said “I come before you as a Jew. I understand on a personal level the harrowing echoes that Hamas’s massacres carry for Israeli Jews – indeed, for Jews everywhere.” It prompted one to mutter, “No Anthony, you are the Secretary of States of the United States of America. You are there to represent American interests in avoiding a major war in the Middle East, not to represent the interests of your tribe by declaring yourself one of them.”

Jewish Businessman Gunned Down In Egypt In Suspected Terror Killing

Earlier this week, on Tuesday, a Canadian Jewish businessman was murdered in the city of Alexandria, Egypt when an unknown gunman approached his car and shot him at point-blank range.

A shadowy terrorist organization has claimed responsibility as 'retaliation' for Israel's military operation in the Gaza Strip. Further the group calling itself "Vanguard of Liberation Group for Martyr Mohamed Salah" (after the Egyptian police officer who killed three IDF troops in a mid-2023 border shooting) is claiming that the victim, identified as Ziv Kipper, was a "Mossad agent".

"Wait for the next," the unknown organization posted in an internet message. "Shalom from the children of Gaza." The group also reportedly posted a video and image of the killing [warning: graphic]. However Egypt's Interior Ministry has been quick to downplay the incident, and instead of 'terrorism' Egyptian security sources have chosen to initially call the killing a robbery.

According to Reuters, "The group posted a photo purporting to show Kipper being shot in his car." But "Egyptian security sources said they had no information on the existence of the group or whether it had been involved in the incident."

The Egyptian government is typically very sensitive when it comes to claims of terrorism targeting Westerners and foreigners, given also historic terror incidents have at times decimated its crucial tourism industry. Egypt has motive to want to downplay or cover-up the circumstances of the attack:

The supposed organization said that it had targeted the businessman over Israeli operations in the Palestinian-Egyptian border town and Hamas stronghold of Rafah. The Vanguard claimed that the businessman, who was the CEO of an Egyptian frozen fruits and vegetables export business, had used his commercial activities as a cover for Israeli intelligence operations.

The group said that the alleged act of terrorism was a continuation of the historical Egyptian fight against Israel, and decried the current Egyptian leadership as puppets.

The man had Israeli citizenship along with Canadian citizenship, according to BBC:

Neither Israel nor Egypt have yet officially named the man who was killed. However, the Israeli foreign ministry confirmed that the victim was a businessman with dual Canadian-Israeli citizenship.

It added that the Israeli embassy in Cairo was in contact with the Egyptian authorities. Egypt's interior ministry, meanwhile, said in a statement that the man had been "residing permanently" in the country.

This is also a sensitive time where Hamas-Israel truce talks have continued in Cairo, via mediators, but the talks have ultimately shown little progress or results, at a moment Israel is poised to progress with its ground offensive on Rafah.
