Unbelievable! cnn & msnbc has been wall-to-wall about Michael Cohen. Cohen, the self-named Trump's FIXER, is going to take Mr. Trump DOWN. I mean, they started with this BS early afternoon. Cohen isn't going to take the stand until Monday. How can news media keep this up that long? Retorhical question, they can't. But they will try!

FOOD! Here's a tip to make the best french fries known to man. Use gold potatoes, not russets. peel and then slice them thin, 1/8 inch thick (that's the secret) After slicing pat them down with paper towels to get the water off. I put half on 2 sections of Bounty, then half the sliced potatoes, another two section of paper towels and the other half or the potatoes and then pat it down with one section.

Use a large heavy skillet with high sides and put about an 1 1/2 inch deep cooking oil (I use lard) and put on med. high heat. Take one of the larger strips into the oil/lard to guage the temp. If it starts sizzeling and raises quickly to the top put all the sliced pieces in. If it doesn't then wait a minute or two and throw another slice in.

Turn the frying slices as they start to brown. Take one out and taste it. Fry until done. Then put a full sheet of paper towel on a dinner plate, half the fried potatoes (the same method as drying the raw potato slices.

Note: Both the oil and lard can be reused many times if it is only used to male french fries. I've made 4 or 5 batches in the last month with the same lard. Only have to add a little bit of fresh lard a couple times (the french fries absorb some of the lard or oil). ENJOY.
