Louis XIV, was offered by Christ, a chance to keep France's empire and even expand it. France, first daughter of the Church, was basically offered what Trump is doing now. He declined, as did Louis XV and Louis XVI (son and grandson), so the French Rebellion occurred. France has NEVER recovered.
