They always give him something to hold..a phone, a mic etc. Why? I don't know but there's a reason for it just like having people walk beside him so we don't see him trip, wander off or shuffle in his gate..just like putting gripper shoes on him and changing to the short stairs on his plane. And yes, the man looks terrified at the remarks made to him.
