Soooโ€ฆwhy's cancer so high on Hokaido island?

Look at the pics of Nagasaki and Hiroshima.

The roads are all clear.

Everything burned in place due to a firestorm, just like Tokyo and almost every other big Japanese city.

If there'd been an "atomic" explosion the whole city would have been scattered first, then burned and the roads would have all been filled with debris.

What is the Greek root of the word apocalypse?

An apocalypse is a revelation: seeing something which has been hidden. It comes from the Greek word, Apokรกlypsis, which means "lifting of the veil", or finding out something secret.
