Today's healthcare sucks. Wifeanon has a foot infection, and they are slow walking it so it gets worse.
Diabetic ulcer resulted in a toe amputation six months ago. Amputation was of second toe. Now the added pressure on big toe has caused a callous to form and split open. We are trying to get the split healed while preventing a new callous.
Working with orthotics, topical antibiotic petroleum jelly and finally a script for antibiotics internal. Finally got her an xray and blood work last week. Wound center tomorrow. Research shows honey works well on foot ulcers. Have been trying, but results are not yet apparent.
