She needs to get kicked out of Congress and sent to jail. Epstein got her elected

Stacey Plaskett represents the territory where Epstein brought his victims.

"There's enough here to raise concern. And I think the questions should be asked if these individuals were actually the source," McPhail said. "And if they weren't — if this was actually Jeffrey Epstein's money that was passed through them — then yes, that would be an unlawful straw-donor violation."A lawyer representing Indyke and Kahn said they weren't reimbursed for the donations. An attorney representing Groff declined to comment.

The August 2014 primary was a close race.Plaskett won, defeating the well-known Malone by just 737 votes. One local news organization called it "one of the biggest upsets in Virgin Islands politics."

It wasn't until a month later that Plaskett and Epstein met for the first time in person, introduced by Erika Kellerhals, a local lawyer. They had a meeting on September 5, according to copies of Epstein's schedules obtained by Insider through a Freedom of Information Act request.

Plaskett was expected to coast to victory in the general election. The local Democratic Party has a firm grip on the territory's politics. Since 1981, the Virgin Islands has only once sent a non-Democrat to Congress.

Nonetheless, de Jongh pushed for more money to support Plaskett. In October 2014, she wrote an email to Epstein memorializing a $13,000 donation to a Democratic Party operation in Plaskett's support from the Southern Trust Co.

"Hi Jeffrey, I am confirming with you that STC will send $13K to the Democratic Party for the benefit of Stacey Plaskett," de Jongh wrote.

'We would have a friend in Stacey'

Epstein kept up the generosity. In September that year, a consultant on Plaskett's campaign invited Epstein to two dinners on St. Thomas and St. Croix, the two main islands in the US Virgin Islands, emails show. Epstein swiftly promised he would donate the "max" but said he didn't want his name attached.

The records dredged up by JPMorgan appear damning. Epstein practically had the entire governmentin his pocket through de Jongh and received $300 million in tax incentives over a 19-year span, JPMorgan has said.

Plaskett's connections to Epstein drew some attention in 2019 after federal prosecutors charged him with trafficking girls for sex. After initially refusing to return his campaign contributions, Plaskett later said she would donate the funds "to Virgin Islands organizations that work with women and children."

"I am uncomfortable having received money from someone who has been accused of these egregious actions multiple times," Plaskett said at the time.(Fucking LIAR)

‘Enough’: Controversial ID program for illegal immigrants targeted by GOP senator

Adam Shaw Tue, May 14, 2024

FIRST ON FOX: A top Republican senator is moving forward with apush to block a controversial program that would give ID cards to illegal immigrants as early as this summer.

Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., is introducing the "No Taxpayer Funds for Illegal Immigrant Identity Cards Act" which would bar any federal funds from going to the ICE Secure Docket Card program or any similar program.

The ICE Secure Docket Card program was first reported on in 2022, and Fox News Digital reported last week that ICE is planning a limited rollout of the program this summer, with a distribution of approximately 10,000 cards. While the agency stressed that plans are "pre-decisional" and still subject to change, it is expected the cards will be issued in three or four locations in the U.S.

TAXPAYER-FUNDED ID PROGRAM FOR ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS EXPECTED TO BEGIN THIS SUMMER

The agency said the program will "modernize documentation provided to some noncitizens" but stressed it would not be an official form of federal ID.

"While the specifics of the card and pilot are under development, it is important to note the secure card will not be an official form of federal identification," the agency said. "The secure card will indicate it is for use by DHS agencies and would be provided only after national security background checks have been performed."

But the program faces Republican opposition, with lawmakers having consistently opposed the program.

LEAKED IMAGES SHOW BIDEN ADMIN'S PLANNED ICE ID CARD FOR ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS

Hawley’s bill would also require the Department of Homeland Security Inspector General to report on any costs associated with the program, or any similar program to grant cards to those in the country illegally.

"Joe Biden opened the border and ushered in an era of unprecedented chaos in the US. And now, rather than getting the crisis under control,he wants to use Americans’ money to fund ID cards for illegals." Hawley said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

"Enough. Biden should be deporting illegal immigrants and securing our border, not giving them IDs and making it easier for them to take advantage of taxpayer benefits," he said. ICE has defended the program, saying it would allow officials to more easily verify identities via the DHS system.

ICE DEVELOPING PROGRAM TO GIVE ID CARDS TO ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS, AS BORDER CRISIS RAGES

"Moving to a secure card will save the agency millions, free up resources and ensure information is quickly accessible to DHS officials while reducing the agency’s FOIA backlog," the spokesperson said. "For provisionally released noncitizens, the digital modernization will provide ongoing access to important immigration documents through the secure card and connected portal."

Meanwhile, the administration isproposing a federal rule to allow officials to deport those determined to be national security and public safety threats earlier in the asylum process.(It’s already in the law)

But Hawley’s bill comes a day after it was revealed that aColombian national wanted for aggravated homicidein his home country was encountered in November, but wasreleased into the U.S. ICE agentsarrested him in Massachusetts earlier this month.

Crying Capitol Cop Harry Dunn LOSES Congressional Primary.

Harry Dunn — the far left Capitol Hill police officer who has cried repeatedly in public over his role in January 6th — has lost his Congressional primary campaign.

It is unknown as to whether or not he cried upon hearing the news.

Dunn, 40, had the endorsements of former Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Rep. Adam Schiff, and had out-raised all his other primary opponents.

Much like on January 6th, Dunn was beaten by a girl.

‘Outlook for Ukraine Bleak’ as Russia Masses 510,000 Troops on Frontline.

An expert has warned that the “outlook for Ukraine is bleak” as recentfigures indicate over half a million Russian troopshave been mobilized to the Ukrainian border. The now dramatically overpowered Ukrainian defense is grappling with depleting ammunition and manpower shortages as it awaits international assistance.

“The Russian forces have now expanded to 510,000 troops. The outlook for Ukraine is bleak. Its allies must replenish stockpiles,” said Dr. Jack Watling of the hawkish Royal United Services Institute.

The current objective of the highly fortified Russian forces involves the broad sweep to capture Kharkov, Ukraine’s second-largest city. UK Defense Secretary Grant Shapps claimed this aggressive move had “caught the West napping,” although experts warned last month that Russia was positioned to capture the city within months.

Russian forces recently launched another offensive in the northeastern regions of Ukraine, increasing the pressure on the already overstretched Ukrainian defense. In less than a week, the Russian military has effectively occupied between 38 to 47 square miles, capturing towns and villages and eroding Ukrainian control.

These developments come as Ukrainian forces are expectantly waiting for international aid, with small quantities starting to trickle in from the U.S.

According to Yurii Federenko, a battalion commander, it will take a minimum of two months before the inbound supplies can adequately supplement Ukrainian defense needs.

This additional pressure on the Ukrainian forces further contributes to the defense instability in significant territories such as the regions surrounding Avdiivka and Chasiv Yar. The current situation signals a strategic advantage for Russia, commanding a challenging predicament for the Western allies and Ukraine.

In April, several experts said ”the writing is on the wall for Ukraine” and predicted the country may only have “weeks” left in its war with Russia.

DOJ lacking appeal process for whistleblowers with revoked security clearances violates law: OIG

"DOJ policy does not include an OIG appeal process for employees whose security clearance has been suspended for more than 1 year and who allege retaliation, as required by federal statute," the DOJ Inspector General found

Updated: May 15, 2024 8:22am

The Department of Justice's lack of an appeal process for whistleblowers with revoked security clearances is a violation of federal law, the DOJ Office of the Inspector General found.

In a Tuesday press release, DOJ Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz announced that he released a Management Advisory Memorandum after an assessment of complaints he received from "employees alleging that their security clearances were suspended in retaliation for protected whistleblowing activity."

According to the OIG's findings, "DOJ policy does not include an OIG appeal process for employees whose security clearance has been suspended for more than 1 year and who allege retaliation, as required by federal statute."

The OIG said that the "lack of appeal process is especially problematic at DOJ components that indefinitely suspend employees without pay for the duration of the security investigation and review process, which can sometimes last years."

The memorandum noted that federal law requires federal government agencies to establish a "security clearance review process that, to the extent practicable."

According to the OIG, employees with a claim should also be able to "retain their government employment status while [the security clearance review] is pending" and existing policy at DOJ "does not address this requirement, and it also does not place any limitations, or even provide guidance, on how long an employee can be kept indefinitely suspended without pay while the component’s security review process is ongoing."

‘Orban Next!’ Pro-Ukraine Accounts Celebrate Assassination Attempt on Slovak PM Fico.

Pro-Ukraine social media accounts are cheering the shooting of Robert Fico, the Prime Minister of Slovakia. The 59-year-old European Union (EU) and NATO leader, an ally of Hungary’s Viktor Orban, has opposed continuing to fund the Western proxy war with Russia in Ukraine, as well as the sanctions duel that has disrupted European energy supplies while having no meaningful impact on Russia’s growing economy.

• “Hero!” declared one user of the suspect. He posted a separate message asking, “Victor [sic] Orban you watching?” — as if to suggest the Trump ally, who also opposes open-ended support for Ukraine, will be shot if he doesn’t change his stance.

• Other users echoed this sentiment, with one user posting “Orban should take notice” and many users, often with the Ukrainian flag by their name, posting messages reading “Orban next” or “Orban is next.”

• Lots of #NAFO types reacting to the shooting of Robert Fico, the anti-war Prime Minister of Slovakia, by expressing their hope that @PM_ViktorOrban is targeted next. Sick people. pic.twitter.com/Xbpux37xEs

• “Karma. In the future, all Kremlin vassals will have to take this into account,” gloated one user.

• “Finally, some good news,” reacted a user with Hungarian, European Union, and Ukrainian flags in their handle.

• “Soon he will meet [P]rigozhin in the hell [sic],” added another user, who also included the Ukrainian flag and the hashtags #Fuckrussia #Fuckputin #SlavaUkraini #NATO and #NATOWAVE in their account biography. Yevgeny Prigozhin was the leader of Russia’s Wagner Group, who died in a plane crash last year.

Fico’s condition and the identity and motive of his shooter were unknown as of the time of publication.

EU state’s leader calls for end to Ukraine conflict

It is naive to think that Kiev can recapture all the territories it claims as its own from Russia, Czech President Petr Pavel says

Russia and Ukraine should end their conflict and engage in negotiations, Czech President Petr Pavel has said, stressing that thediplomatic process must involve both Kiev and Moscow.

In an interview with Sky News on Tuesday, Pavel, who previously served as the chairman of NATO’s Military Committee and the chief of the Czech Republic’s General Staff, expressed doubtthat Ukraine can achieve a clear victory over Russia.

“We have to be realistic. It would be naïveto say that Ukraine can fully restore the control over the territories in the foreseeable future. Russia will not give up the territory it is occupying now,” he said, referring to four former Ukrainian territories that voted to join Russia in autumn 2022, as well as Crimea, which did so several years earlier.

Pavel stressed that “we need to stop the war and then start negotiations about [a] future arrangement.” He suggested that “there might be some kind of a compromise,” but cautioned that it would be unattainable without theparticipation of Ukraine, Russia–, and other countries that could act as guarantors of the agreement==.

The Czech president said that while the West has enough resources to prop up Ukraine’s military, NATO cannot intervene directly on the battlefield because it would trigger a direct clash with Russia.

When pressed whether he believes Ukraine could eventually join the US-led military bloc, Pavel responded in the affirmative, adding, however, that “we have to come up with a kind of a settlement, restore peace in the region, and then we can talk about the potential membership of Ukraine.” (NATO will never invite Ukraine into the fold, they have embezzled, stolen, sold and black marketed a majority of the money & weapons sent to them. Ukraine is a terrorist country at this point, there is no turning back to a normal place.)

He also weighed in on the Russian offensive in Kharkov Region, noting that it is “the result of long preparation,” and that Ukraine had been bracing for this for a long time while asking the West for more weapons. Nevertheless, he claimed that the West had been “overcautious with our [arms] deliveries” to Kiev, warning that Ukraine may “eventually lose the war.”

Ukrainian officials have long warned that they would struggle to hold back Russia if it launched a major offensive. In recent days, the Russian Defense Ministry reported advances in the border Kharkov Region, claiming to have captured several settlements while Kiev has scrambled to send reinforcements.
