if your objection is 'the will of the Cuban people', well by this point most of them have relatives in the U.S. and want to be reunited with them… which would be easy if Cuba becomes a state.
Chinese facilities in Cuba are equivalent to U.S. facilities in Taiwan. It's a fair exchange.
It makes sense for both sides wince Taiwan is properly within China's sphere of influence and Cuba is in the USA's sphere.
Destroying the Chinese DUMBs would be a lot easier once Cuba is a state.
