Testing to see if inter-thread linking works.
It does.
My immediate observation of this experiment is that the good anons moved their banter over here and the bad anons (shills) remain in General, now undiluted by the constructive banter from the good anons.
It hasn't cleaned up General. Quite the opposite. All it has done is turn General into more concentrated and more pure shit.
It has reduced the volume, however. And the shills are easier to spot and filter by ID. So there is that upside.

[ Testing to see if a link here creates a (You) on the other board. Ignore. ]
It doesn't. Darn. That would be useful if it did. You could respond to a post over there here and the poster would notice.
I asked BO and didn't get an answer. I don't think so.
Anyone know if the post number (and therefore the URL) on cyclic threads remains constant forever?
Be nice if I can just keep a bookmark on my toolbar.
Probably.
ID's are hashes of IP address + a thread specific salt. Your IP may occasionally change, but I don't foresee any reason why the salt would. I think it would be be quite disruptive if it did.
The problem is that the article gave the impression to newbies that the people running 8chan and QResearch ARE Q. Someone who has never heard of Q before who was meerly skimming over the article would be made to believe that Q is a LARP being run by the people organizing this operation.
And the idea that Q is a 2300 year old secret society is just silly.
he probably interpreted the "fellow incarnated extraterrestrials" part as facetious and was confirming the importance of the crumb that everyone had forgotten.
The correct animal metaphor is "wild goose chase".
