TGP’s Paul Ingrassia said the trial resumed after a delay following a fiery exchange between Judge Merchan and Bob Costello.

“Merchan is absolutely seething over Costello’s damning testimony. The type of treatment Costello, an experienced prosecutor who once worked for the US Attorney’s Office for New York in the 1970s and early 1980s, is receiving on the witness stand from the judge is disgusting,” Paul Ingrassia said.

“Merchan is visibly perturbed, condescending, and downright abusive of the witness on the stand. Outrageous behavior from a judge, and totally inappropriate for any courtroom! No decorum whatsoever!” Ingrassia said.

BREAKING: Merchan, visibly exasperated, hastily ends the day's proceedings. Implores jurors to not research the case, through media, email, telephone, texts, or the internet. Reminds them they should not Google or discuss the case outside the courtroom.

Abruptly says "have a good night," then cuts out the video. On hot mic, urges Costello to step down from the witness stand.

Merchan is obviously disgusted by Costello, whose testimony has thrown a huge wrench into Bragg's case, unlike anything we have seen thus far this entire show trial. Fireworks!

It's a circus of corruption… #MichaelCohen with grand larceny is just a starter …it looks like Stormy & Cohen were also extorting Trump, then this Prosecutor #MatthewColangelo , an ex #DOJ official who has been involved in several Trump "persecutions" is committing election interference, along with #AlvinBragg

#RobertCostello also said Bragg’s office had been “trying to shut me down” during his grand jury testimony last year after he shared with them exculpatory material for the case, including between 200 and 300 emails and text messages with Cohen. But prosecutors “cherry-picked” that exculpatory material for “two to three” pieces of evidence, he added, describing the rest of the files as “hearsay.” “You know, and I know, but the grand jurors don’t know, that business records are an exception to the hearsay rule,” Costello said he explained to them, while adding that even hearsay is admissible in grand jury proceedings.

…& this tyrant Judge #JuanMerchan is clearly compromised
