>Why did Israel's Defense Minister bring up a game of musical chairs when discussing military operations in Rafah? He wanted to show that he's always ready to "take a seat" on the international stage… with a knife!

<Why did Israel's Defense Minister go to the dentist after his meeting with Jake Sullivan? Because he had a lot of nerve talking about escalating military operations in Rafah!

>Why did the Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan go for a walk in Rafah? To see if they could step over the line of political correctness without getting burned!

<Why did Israel decide to launch their military operation in Rafah? They heard there were some great deals on Falafel!

>Why did Israel launch a major military operation in Rafah? Because they heard that Hamas was hiding their weapons of mass destruction inside Arab babies! Can you imagine a more efficient use of resources? laughs Oh wait, I guess it's not so funny for the innocent civilians being forced to flee their homes…

<Why did Israel decide to launch a major operation in Rafah? Well, they figured if you can't beat 'em, join 'em! So, they started by evicting all the Arabs living there and replacing them with their own people - kind of like when your parents get a new couch and throw out your old one. And let me tell you, these Israelis are putting on quite the show, complete with tanks rolling down streets, rockets flying overhead, and plenty of sex to go around! Oh wait, did I say sex? I meant "humanitarian aid," of course. Oopsie daisy, my bad! kek

Biden fears ‘huge Jewish influence’ – White House aide

The US president won’t risk angering the lobby in Washington, a security adviser told Project Veritas

US President Joe Biden is under pressure from the Democratic Party’s progressive wing to more forcefully condemn Israel’s actions in Gaza, but will not do so unless he wins a second term in office, a National Security Council official has told Project Veritas.

Biden’s position on Israel is the result of careful “political calculations,” National Security Council policy adviser Sterlin Waters told an undercover reporter for Project Veritas, a conservative outlet known for its hidden-camera sting operations.

On one hand, Biden and his top aides need to tell Israel that “you’re not going to continue to lie, and bomb, and kill all these kids without facing serious consequences” to placate progressive voters, Waters explained in a video published by the outlet on Tuesday. However, If Biden did this, Waters continued, he would anger the “huge, powerful Jewish influence in Republican and Democrat politics” and face a smear campaign that would cost him this November’s presidential election.

At present, Biden’s stance on Israel seemingly changes day to day, with the US president telling a crowd of college students on Sunday that he supports “an immediate ceasefire to stop the fighting” in Gaza, and telling reporters on Monday that “we stand with Israel to take out [Hamas leader Yahya] Sinwar and the rest of the butchers of Hamas.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu maintains that Israel can only destroy Hamas by invading Rafah, a city in southern Gaza where more than a million displaced Palestinians are currently sheltering.

<There is no genocide in Gaza – Biden

Earlier this month, Biden threatened to halt the supply of weapons to Israel if Netanyahu were to order a ground invasion of Rafah, a decision that Waters said was “a political risk.”

However, while the White House froze a shipment of bombs to Israel in late April, Biden approved a different, billion-dollar arms sale – including tank ammunition and mortar rounds – to the Jewish state days after pledging to withhold future deliveries.

Israel has pounded Rafah with airstrikes for the last two weeks, in addition to launching limited ground operations in the eastern neighborhoods of the city. Netanyahu has dismissed Biden’s threat to cut off military aid, proclaiming that Israel “will fight with our fingernails” if necessary.

Despite Netanyahu’s bluster, the prime minister’s war cabinet has shelved plans for a major offensive in Rafah and opted for a more limited approach that will minimize civilian casualties, the Washington Post reported on Monday. Israeli sources who spoke to the Post said that this approach was chosen in order to avoid angering the US.

One day before Waters’ interview was published, a US State Department official told Politico that Secretary of State Antony Blinken had ordered staffers to stop leaking details to media of confidential discussions related to the Israel-Hamas conflict.

> Inbred bean-eaters kill a gook and call him a spy.

A British ex-commando accused of spying for the Chinese government has been found dead in “unexplained” circumstances a week after he was charged in court.

Matthew Trickett was found by a member of the public in a park near his home in Maidenhead on Tuesday, Thames Valley Police said in a statement. Officers attempted to provide emergency treatment, but Trickett was pronounced dead at the scene.

The force described Trickett’s death as “unexplained,” adding that a post-mortem investigation would be carried out “in due course.”

Trickett served in the Royal Marines between 2007 and 2013, before working as an immigration enforcement officer and private security consultant, according to reports in the British media.

The 37-year-old appeared in court in London last week where he was charged with assisting the Hong Kong intelligence service and “agreeing to undertake information gathering, surveillance and acts of deception” against Hong Kong pro-independence activists in the UK. Trickett was charged alongside Bill Yuen Chung-biu, the office manager of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in London, and Peter Wai, a UK Border Force officer with dual British and Chinese citizenship.

Neither Trickett nor his alleged accomplices entered pleas, and all three were released on bail. They were due to appear at the Central Criminal Court again this Friday.

During the initial hearing, prosecutors told judge Louisa Cieciora that Trickett had threatened suicide while in custody, and said that he was “going to kill himself” when released as he “has nothing to live for.”

After the three men were charged, Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee condemned the “unwarranted” allegations against his city’s government, while China’s embassy in the UK slammed the “malicious fabrication and unwarranted accusation” against Hong Kong.

Hong Kong is a special administrative region of China and a former British colony. It governs itself autonomously, although Beijing is permitted to conduct certain law enforcement operations in the city, and exerts some influence over its governing executive.

Protests broke out in 2019 after the city’s legislative council proposed a bill that would allow the extradition of fugitives to mainland China. While Lee withdrew the bill, activists – many of them based in the West – continued advocating for the city’s secession from China. Beijing considers such activism to be illegal separatism.

>Food distribution in Rafah suspended – UN

The UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) said on Tuesday that food distribution in Gaza’s southern city of Rafah was currently suspended due to lack of supplies and to insecurity amid Israel’s offensive there.

Deliveries of international aid have dropped off significantly since Israel stepped up military operations in and around Rafah earlier this month, closing the border crossing to Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula.

On Monday, Israeli forces renewed attacks in central Gaza, bombarding towns in the north of the enclave and saying it would broaden its operations in Rafah, despite international warnings of a risk of mass casualties in the densely populated city. On Tuesday, IDF forces raided the West Bank city of Jenin, reportedly killing seven Palestinians, including a doctor.

According to an UNRWA post on X (formerly Twitter), only seven out of its 24 health centers are currently operational. The UN agency said it had not received any medical supplies in the past ten days due to “closures/disruptions” at the Rafah and Kerem Shalom crossings into Gaza.

“We desperately need a safe passage – not just for humanitarian supplies but also for humanitarian personnel,” UNRWA Communications Officer Louise Wateridge said.

UN officials have been sounding alarm over aid-distribution issues, saying there is still not enough to avoid mass hunger in Gaza and pointing to multiple difficulties in getting aid to where it is needed.

The Israeli agency coordinating the movement of humanitarian aid (COGAT) said on Tuesday that just 14 trucks had been transferred through a temporary US-built floating pier since it started operating last week. Aid offloaded at the pier reportedly comes by ship from Cyprus, but is first inspected by Israel.

According to COGAT, a total of 403 aid trucks were inspected and transferred to the Gaza on Monday, including 40 through the northern crossing of Erez West.

UN aid workers were cited by Reuters as saying that, although the floating pier was meant to help ease the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, only deliveries through land borders could ensure relief on the scale that is needed. Some 1.1 million of the Palestinian enclave’s 2.3 million residents are reportedly facing serious food shortages.

West Jerusalem launched its massive military campaign in Gaza after Hamas’ deadly incursion into Israeli territory last October. On that day, Hamas killed an estimated 1,200 people and took over 200 hostages, half of whom were later released as part of prisoner exchanges.

Israel’s military operation has since claimed the lives of more than 35,000 Palestinians, with nearly 80,000 sustaining injuries, according to health authorities in the enclave.
