There was a helper anon on here a few weeks back called it thus: due to recent events, May had been released and was no longer under (cabal) control. She would be replaced as leader by Rees-Moog, who would go ahead with a hard Brexit - the way it should be - and the UK would be put back on the road to recovery. That's me paraphrasing as I don't have a link to the post.

Rees-Moog won't throw his hat in the ring straight away. The way these things go, a stalking-horse is chosen to contest the leadership and once it's recognised that May no longer has the confidence of the house it's ON.
