US Defense Secretary Austin to Visit Cambodia Next Week

Lloyd Austin’s visit is a sign that Washington is seeking to re-engage the new look leadership in Phnom Penh, in a bid to draw the country out of China’s orbit.

In a statement on Friday, the Defense Department said that Austin will travel to Phnom Penh on June 4 after attending the Shangri-La Dialogue defense forum in Singapore, where he will meet “with other counterparts from across the Indo-Pacific region,” and hold his first meeting with Dong Jun, the Chinese defense minister. The Defense Department did not offer much detail about Austin’s visit to Cambodia, except that he would meet with “senior officials.” The Financial Times, quoting three U.S. officials, said that Austin will meet Prime Minister Hun Manet, son of the former leader Hun Sen, who took over from his father last August.

Don’t be fooled by this globalist stooge-he is NOT as he appears and he’ll be pandering to all the leftists in the Bay Area starting on Tuesday

Warned about him before he was elected and the first thing he does is say he’s “kicking out the IMF and World Bank” and then comes here and goes to Chabad for his initiation bullshit.

His antics are a lot like a John Belushi but not in a good way-he is a total act and an NWO stooge.

North Korea fails in attempt to launch spy satellite

North Korea unsuccessfully attempted to launch a rocket carrying a reconnaissance satellite on Monday night, Pyongyang's state media reported, hours after a trilateral summit among China, Japan and South Korea that took place in Seoul. A dispatch by the North's official news agency in the early hours of Tuesday said the launch failed in midair due to an explosion that occurred in the first stage of the rocket's flight. The Korean Central News Agency said authorities had drawn the preliminary conclusion that the cause of the explosion was a liquid-fuel engine but that other possible causes also would be investigated. Pyongyang has said it plans to launch three military spy satellites in 2024. It successfully put a military spy satellite into orbit in November 2023 after two failed attempts the same year. South Korea's intelligence service said that Russia appeared to have provided the North with technical assistance related to the launch.

Analysts have said North Korea wishes to develop its own reconnaissance satellites to gather information that would aid its ballistic missile program, such as intelligence on military movements by other countries. The South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff said Monday's launch occurred around 10:44 p.m. in a southerly direction over the Yellow Sea from North Pyongan province. Military authorities said they found large amounts of debris in North Korean waters.

Japan's Defense Ministry announced at 10:46 p.m. Monday that North Korea had launched what Tokyo said was a possible ballistic missile. The Japanese government issued an emergency alert for Okinawa prefecture but later lifted it, saying the object would not fly over the territory. We believe that North Korea attempted a launch utilizing ballistic missile technology for the purpose of launching a satellite, but we estimate that it vanished over the Yellow Sea. Further details are under analysis," Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshimasa Hayashi said at a press conference. "It is assumed that no object was inserted into space." “The series of actions by North Korea, including its repeated missile launches to date, threaten the peace and security of our country, the region and the international community," Hayashi said. “Such launches violate relevant U.N. Security Council resolutions and are a serious matter concerning the safety of our people," he said. Japan protested the launch "through our embassy route in Beijing," Hayashi said. "The government will respond in close cooperation with the United States, South Korea and the international community, including at the U.N. Security Council."

Footage shot by Japan's NHK from near the border between China and North Korea indicates the projectile was ablaze in midair, suggesting that it experienced trouble.

The Japan Coast Guard said on Monday that North Korea had notified it of plans to carry out a satellite launch between May 27 and June 3.

Ukraine's Zelensky To Visit Belgium Tuesday

(Ummm he’s been there for 9 fuggen hours!!! >>20923704, >>20923972, >>20924055 pb thanks for the “Breaking News”)

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will visit Belgium Tuesday to ink the latest in a string of security accords with Western allies, the Belgian prime minister's office said Monday.

The Ukrainian leader is set to jet into Brussels from Spain as part of a whistlestop tour to several European countries in a bid to rally support for Kyiv. Zelensky will hold a press conference with Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo after the two leaders sign a bilateral security deal.

Zelensky will also visit a military airbase in the Belgian capital, where he will meet instructors helping to train Ukrainian pilots to fly F-16 jets.

Belgium has pledged to supply F-16 fighter aircraft to Kyiv as part of a broader initiative by European allies and hopes to begin deliveries this year. Overall Brussels says it has committed 1.2 billion euros ($1.3 billion) to providing military support for Ukraine since Russia's 2022 invasion. Spain on Monday pledged one billion euros in military aid to Ukraine as Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez and Zelensky signed their own security deal in Madrid. Zelensky's latest tour to allies comes as Ukraine is struggling to hold back a Russian ground offensive in the Kharkiv region, which has seen Moscow's biggest territorial advance in 18 months.

After Belgium, Zelensky is then expected to head to Portugal.
