7 cops to be charged for allegedly branding Palestinian with Star of David

Officers to be charged with abuse and assault over 2023 incident in East Jerusalem, as well as possibly for deleting footage of altercation during arrest

The Department of Internal Police Investigations (DIPI) said Tuesday that it had recently notified seven police officers that they would be charged in a 2023 incident in which a Star of David was allegedly branded on the face of an East Jerusalem resident during his arrest.

According to a statement from DIPI, the seven cops were slated to be indicted on varying charges of abuse of a helpless person, aggravated assault, obstruction of investigative proceedings, and abuse of official power.

Not all seven officers were set to be charged with all of those offenses, and it was unclear what would be decided regarding nine other cops who also took part in the August 2023 arrest of 22-year-old Arwah Sheikh Ali.

In the incident, the East Jerusalem Palestinian claimed that police officers had beat him and branded his face with a Star of David while arresting him for suspected drug trafficking.

Ali filed an official complaint to the Justice Ministry’s DIPI several days after the arrest, which made headlines over its apparent brutal nature.

California Senate Passes Bill Banning Notifying Parents of Child Gender Transitions

The California senate passed a bill that essentially bans notifying parents of child gender transitions — a biological impossibility — which coincides with Gov. Gavin Newsom’s (D-CA) apparent belief that parents do not have the right to know if their child is “transitioning.”

Lawmakers consider the legislation — AB-1955 Support Academic Futures and Educators for Today’s Youth Act — something that would protect the “forced outing” of a child to his or her parents. According to a summary of the bill:

This bill would prohibit school districts, county offices of education, charter schools, and the state special schools, and a member of the governing board or body of those educational entities, from enacting or enforcing any policy, rule, or administrative regulation that requires an employee or a contractor to disclose any information related to a pupil’s sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression to any other person without the pupil’s consent unless otherwise required by law, as provided. The bill would prohibit employees or contractors of those educational entities from being required to make such a disclosure unless otherwise required by law, as provided. The bill would prohibit employees or contractors of school districts, county offices of education, charter schools, or the state special schools, or members of the governing boards or bodies of those educational entities, from retaliating or taking adverse action against an employee on the basis that the employee supported a pupil in the exercise of specified rights, work activities, or providing certain instruction, as provided.

In other words, parents would be left in the dark, as the legislation states, “Policies that forcibly ‘out’ pupils without their consent remove opportunities for LGBTQ+ young people and their families to build trust and have these conversations when they are ready.”

Further background from the California Legislative LGBTQ Caucus also asserts that the bill is about “privacy” for students, holding that the “right of transgender students to keep their gender identity private is grounded in California’s anti-discrimination laws, as well as federal and state laws.”

“Courts have affirmed that students have a right to keep personal information private. Despite this, a growing number of school boards have continued to propose forced outing policies,” it continues.

This coincides well with Newsom’s position, as he has openly dismissed parents’ concerns about California policies that prevent schools from notifying parents when their children indicate a desire to “switch” genders.

Nearly 9,000 Palestinians detained in West Bank since 7 October

The Israeli army arrested around 20 Palestinians from 25 to 26 May, bringing the total number of arrests in the occupied West Bank since 7 October to over 8,875.

The Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners Club jointly issued a statement, revealing that the total arrests since 7 October have surpassed 8,875.

According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, the arrests over the weekend took place across several areas in the West Bank, including Jenin, Bethlehem, Hebron, Nablus, Ramallah, and Jerusalem.

During the arrest campaign, Israeli settlers, accompanied by police, entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied Jerusalem on the morning of 26 May. Local reports also indicate that the arrest raids caused widespread destruction of property.

The reports added that local enforcement was stationed at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque and prevented tens of worshippers from entering.

Additionally, Israeli forces distributed demolition notices on the same day for commercial shops along the road connecting the Jaba and Qalandia military checkpoints, situated north of occupied Jerusalem, and for a bridge linking the towns of Jaba and Al-Ram.

Simultaneously with the conflict in Gaza, Israeli settlers have increased their assaults on Palestinians in the West Bank. The Israeli military has also heightened its operations in the occupied West Bank, leading to 518 deaths, 5,000 injuries, and numerous arrests.

Earlier this month, in a similar incident, the Israeli military detained 25 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, killing six civilians in the process.

According to a local statement, the Israeli forces physically assaulted and mistreated Palestinians, as well as damaging their property.

Detention drives are often marked by increasing incidents of mistreatment, physical assaults, and intimidation directed at the detainees and their families. This encompasses the demolition of residences along with the seizure of vehicles, funds, and valuables like jewelry.

One element of the ultimately failed campaign was reported in a separate Guardian story earlier in the day, outlining then-Mossad chief Yossi Cohen’s alleged campaign of “threats and intimidation” aimed at dissuading then-ICC chief prosecutor Fatou Bensouda from opening a war crimes investigation into Israel.

In a follow-up story hours later, The Guardian — in an investigation carried out in conjunction with Israeli-Palestinian publication +972 Magazine and Hebrew-language outlet Local Call — claimed that was just part of a nine-year attempt to dissuade Bensouda and her successor Karim Khan from prosecuting Israeli leaders, which began in 2015 and was still being waged as recently as last month.

Citing “more than two dozen current and former Israeli intelligence officers and government officials, senior ICC figures, diplomats and lawyers” familiar with the matter, the report said that alongside the Mossad spy agency, the intelligence-gathering efforts also included the Shin Bet security service; and the Israel Defense Forces’ Military Intelligence Directorate and its signal intelligence branch, Unit 8200.

Israel, having barred ICC staff from accessing the West Bank and Gaza, regularly intercepted their calls and communications with Palestinians, though it never directly tapped ICC official’s devices, the report said.

One former Israeli intelligence official was quoted as alleging that the “entire military and political establishment” viewed this “as a war that had to be waged, and one that Israel needed to be defended against. It was described in military terms.”

CIA is involved in domestic censorship collusion with Big Tech, bombshell report reveals

A bombshell report recently proved that the government's intel arm colludes with Big Tech to impose domestic censorship.

Unlike the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the law strictly prohibits Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) employees to spy or run clandestine operations against Americans in the United States. However, a new Twitter Files investigation has revealed that a member of the Board of Trustees of the CIA's mission-driven venture capital firm and "former" intelligence community (IC) and CIA analysts were involved in a 2021-2022 effort to take over Twitter's content management system.

Bestselling author and independent journalist Michael Shellenberger disclosed on May 23 that the said "project" between CIA and tech companies involved a long-time IC contractor and senior Department of Defense research and development official who spent years developing technologies to detect whistleblowers like Wikileaks' leakers. It also implicated the proposed head of the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) aborted Disinformation Governance Board Nina Jankowicz, who aided U.S. military and NATO "hybrid war" operations in Europe.

On June 11, 2020, a little-known book publisher published Jankowicz's "How to Lose the Information War: Russia, Fake News and the Future of Conflict," which argues for an "info war" like the kind the U.S. government waged in Ukraine and Eastern Europe. She compared the lack of regulation of speech on social media regulations to the lack of government regulation of automobiles in the 1960s. She called for a "cross-platform" and public-private approach, so whatever actions are taken are taken by Google, Facebook and Twitter, simultaneously.

She also cited Europe as the model for regulating speech. "Germany's NetzDG law requires social media companies and other content hosts to remove 'obviously illegal' speech within twenty-four hours," she said, "or face a fine of up to $50 million." In the U.S. "Congress has yet to pass a bill imposing even the most basic of regulations related to social media and election advertising," she lamented.

Meanwhile, Jim Baker, who helped start the "Russiagate" hoax and urged Twitter executives to censor the New York Post story on the contents of presidential son Hunter Biden's laptop, was also implicated in the collusion efforts. "These existing or former IC employees, contractors or intermediaries weren't satisfied with simply controlling Twitter. They also wanted to use PayPal, Amazon Web Services and GoDaddy in a totalizing effort to de-platform, de-monetize and excommunicate from the Internet entirely those individuals that the IC et al. deems to be a threat," Shellenberger exposed.

He further expressed that the investigation may still need more information. "We do not know if officials within the CIA or any other IC organization ran the operation. It is possible that the only individuals involved in the effort were the ones we discovered. And none of the individuals involved responded to our request for information except for one," he pointed out.

NYT: The Claim Israel is Committing Genocide is an 'Antisemitic Blood Libel'

Just one day after Israel decapitated a small child and killed dozens of displaced Palestinians in an airstrike on a tent city in Gaza, the New York Times ran a column stating that accusing Israel of genocide is a "canard" invoking an "ancient antisemitic blood libel."

James Kirchick wrote in a column on Monday for the New York Times:

What is Haass’s ultimate objective in prolonging the insanity of the U.S.’s proxy war against Russia in Ukraine? Claudio Resta writes:

I want to point out that Haass’s perspective is nothing new. The Anglo-American-Zionist Empire has been intent on world conquest for 500 years. Back in the 1600s, my own English ancestors came to America in search of freedom. In 1638 my ancestor Thomas Bliss, a Puritan blacksmith, arrived in Massachusetts after being told by the minions of King Charles I and Archbishop Laud to get out of an England that didn’t want people like him. Thomas’s father, Thomas Bliss, Sr., had been dragged through the streets of London behind one of the King’s horses and died from his injuries. His brother Jonathan died in a King’s prison.

The Blisses later fought for American freedom in the Revolutionary War. Through its autonomy and hard work, the U.S. became an industrial leader and home for many more freedom-seeking immigrants. But late in the 19th century, people like Cecil Rhodes and Nathaniel Rothschild decided to use their fabulous wealth derived from South African gold and diamonds to “recover America for the British Empire.” They succeeded through passage of the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 and by dragging the U.S. into World War I.

That’s when Richard Haass’s Council on Foreign Relations was founded with money provided by the Morgans and Rockefellers. Its purpose, ongoing until today, was to complete the imperial takeover, with the U.S. designated forever afterwards to provide the muscle in subduing all the peoples of the earth through the regime of financial exploitation and endless war.

As an aside, Richard Haass’s biography shows perfectly the qualifications required to help lead such an enterprise.

I document in my recent book Our Country, Then and Now how in 1940-1941 the Council on Foreign Relations foisted on the Roosevelt Administration the long-term plan for total military dominance of the entire globe. After the annihilation of Germany in World War II, the declaration of a Cold War against the Soviet Union, and the creation of the National Security State under President Truman, the plan for global conquest moved ahead. Second strike on tent camp kills 21 people and injures more than 60 near Rafah, Israel denies involvement

Israeli strikes on a tent camp in an evacuation area west of Rafah have killed at least 21 people, Gaza health authorities said, with more than 60 others injured.

Two days after an Israeli air strike on another camp stirred global condemnation, Gaza emergency services said four tank shells hit a cluster of tents in Al-Mawasi on Tuesday local time — a coastal area that Israel had advised civilians in Rafah to move to for safety.

At least 12 of the dead were women, according to medical officials in Gaza.

The Hamas-run health ministry said at least 64 others were injured.

The Israeli army denied it struck the area.

"Contrary to the reports … the IDF (Israel Defence Forces) did not strike in the Humanitarian Area in Al-Mawasi," the military said in a statement.

The Israeli military said its forces continued to operate in the Rafah area, without commenting on reported advances into the city centre.

International unease over Israel's three-week-old Rafah offensive has turned to outrage after an attack on Sunday set off a blaze in a tent camp in a western district of the city, killing at least 45 people.

Israel said it had targeted Hamas commanders and had not intended to cause civilian casualties.

Global leaders voiced horror at the fire in a designated "humanitarian zone" of Rafah where families uprooted by fighting elsewhere had sought shelter, and urged the implementation of a World Court order last week for a halt to Israel's assault.
