There is more to the epi pen price hikes than just having it standard in every school; the same injection system used in the epi pen is also patented for administering narcan, the “antidote” for opioid overdose. There had been a push to make narcan mandatory in every school, hospital, doctor office, first responder, etc. as well as at pharmacies without a prescription. There is no need to stop opium use, if the antidote will keep people alive...The pharma behind that plan were big Clinton supporters.
