Lots of details on legal experience with DOJ and Chicago mob trial but of special interest perhaps:

Between 2004 and 2006, Funk worked for the U.S. Department of State as the Section Chief in Kosovo following the Kosovo War. Also links to Darfur, Haiti & Human Trafficking & has "leadership position" with American Bar Association (ABA) in interactions with those countries.

Appears to have expert knowledge of human trafficking and together with Illinois Judge Virginia Kendall with whom 2 books were published. In Amazon there appears some discrepancies as to titles (hardback & paperback) and first author (See images.)
